Back in the spring, we teamed up with Underwood Brewery to search for a flavor where the chocolate doesn’t try to overpower the beer, but rather enhances its character. We tasted countless options until we settled on Capital DIPA with its distinct malty character.

That’s how the beer truffle was born: dark chocolate, a delicate filling with a hint of beer and cocoa notes that echo the DIPA and leave a long, chocolatey-malty aftertaste. It’s like rewatching your favorite TV show, knowing all the lines by heart, and still noticing something new. Even the packaging plays into the theme: a transparent jar that looks like a beer bottle, with truffles inside. You can open it anywhere—in the kitchen between chores, on the go, or just on the couch watching a show, when no one asks why you’re eating chocolate by the spoonful straight from the jar.

You can definitely live without it. But if you love discovering familiar flavors in a new way—why deny yourself?"

"What if you tried the same beer truffle with two completely different teas? We gave it a try.

Assam, with its honey, fruit, and caramel notes, enhances the truffle’s depth and makes its flavor richer. This is the perfect choice for an evening when you’re in no rush. Earl Grey works differently. Bergamot adds citrusy freshness and makes the truffle taste lighter. It’s more like a morning cup of tea that finally brings you back to life. And dark chocolate with orange and raspberry adds another variable to the mix: a berry tartness that pairs well with both tea and chocolate.

So it’s simple: one truffle, two teas, and a chance to see which one is your favorite—rich Assam or fresh Earl Grey.

And if you don’t find the answer on the first try—you’ll have to repeat the experiment."

Pure Stout plays by different rules: its coffee and chocolate notes complement the truffle’s dark chocolate and deepen the flavor. This is more for an evening that has quietly turned into night.
