Back in the spring, we teamed up with Underwood Brewery to search for a flavor where the chocolate doesn’t try to overpower the beer, but rather enhances its character. We tasted countless options until we settled on Capital DIPA with its distinct malty character.

That’s how the beer truffle was born: dark chocolate, a delicate filling with a hint of beer and cocoa notes that echo the DIPA and leave a long, chocolatey-malty aftertaste. It’s like rewatching your favorite TV show, knowing all the lines by heart, and still noticing something new. Even the packaging plays into the theme: a transparent jar that looks like a beer bottle, with truffles inside. You can open it anywhere—in the kitchen between chores, on the go, or just on the couch watching a show, when no one asks why you’re eating chocolate by the spoonful straight from the jar.
