Its flavour is based on Strathisla malt, which gives it a luxurious honeyiness against the background of vanilla and ripe apple aromas. Its aroma is characterised by hints of field grasses, heather, honey and garden fruits. The palate is marked by a warming, generous, round and rich honey palette with notes of ripe apples, vanilla, hazelnut and toffee. The finish is long, slightly spicy, with vanilla hints. The whiskey tastes great neat and can be used as a base for cocktails.
